With the Ideal Path, and the original video, the next step is to “Undo” the difference between the Ideal and Actual camera path. This is done by shifting the video all around to keep the content “steady.” The shift can be any combination of left-right, up-down, rotation or zoom (size adjustment).
You can watch this video and see the adjustments needed as the camera bobs on the waves. Download AVI file Right Click (1 MB) View Streaming Video (Modem 56k) View Streaming Video (High-speed, Cable or DSL)
What about those black areas around the edges? The next page will explain how SteadyHand fixes those.
