How SteadyHand Works: Step 1: Find all the motion in a video |

Steady fixes a video in a series of automatic steps:
Steady processing starts with the PelKinetics engine to examine each frame of your video to calculate out where each and every pixel is moving. PelKinetics is an award-winning 3rd generation optic flow motion detector. The graphic below uses arrows to show the direction and speed (length of arrows) of some pixels in a frame. Of course, the arrows don’t show all the pixels. If we drew them all, the image would be solid black, even for videos taken on phones and lower-resolution, more portable methods of filming live-action events.
Those who are more observant might notice that the arrows don’t all seem to be going in the same direction – they seem to be bent away from the center. What might cause this? Keep reading.
